Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Administrative Assistant to support our Newberg team and ensure smooth daily operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative tasks, light financial work, event coordination, and project support. The right candidate is organized, self-motivated, and thrives in a professional yet relaxed team environment.
In this role, you will:
• Support daily office operations by answering phones, handling mail, managing supplies, and maintaining digital and physical filing systems.
• Maintain the front desk reception area and greet/direct clients, visitors, and vendors.
• Monitor office equipment (copier/printer, postage machine, etc.) and coordinate maintenance or service calls.
• Assist with financial administration, including entering client payments, preparing and scanning deposits, entering credit card charges, and processing vendor invoices.
• Coordinate company vehicle maintenance and detailing.
• Help organize team events.
• Assist with contract documents, bid advertisements, bid results, and award notifications.
• Provide general administrative assistance and support for staff as needed.
Ideal candidates will:
• Have 2+ years of administrative or office support experience (preferred).
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and general office software.
• Possess excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
•Be professional, dependable, and self-motivated.
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday (flexible scheduling available)
Compensation: $19–$22 per hour, DOE
