Funding Assistance
HBH staff have assisted dozens of communities throughout the state in obtaining funding for infrastructure projects. Funding sources have included Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) through DWP and DEQ as well as Water and Environmental Program administered by Rural Utility Services (RUS). We have also been instrumental in obtaining funds from ODOT pedestrian and bicycle grants, ODOT Special City Allotment (SCA) grants, Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), and grants from Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB), Oregon Water Resource Department (OWRD) and Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW). An essential part of this task is providing technical support and expertise at One-Stop meetings with funding agencies, evaluating potential funding packages, and making recommendations. The Engineers at HBH have extensive experience and knowledge of State and Federal funding programs. We have attended numerous One-Stop funding meetings and have an excellent record in submitting top ranking funding applications.
Permitting Assistance
We have an excellent working relationship with State and Federal regulatory agencies including Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), OHA Drinking Water Program, Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), Oregon Department of State Lands (DSL), US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), US Army Corps of Engineers (ACE), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) as well as many others.
